Each society has its
own quirks and individual problems. Realm Disadvantages can be taken to
represent these. The Disadvantages presented here are just a few small
examples, and the GM and the players are encouraged to make up new ones.
The Realms's inhabitants are constantly fearful of
bad omens. Roll against the Frequency of Appearance at the start of
each Realm Turn. If the roll indicates that a bad omen appears,
substract two from the Realms' Tractability Attribute for that turn.
If a bad omen appears sometimes (on a roll of 10 or
less), the disadvantage is worth 10 points. If a bad omen appears
occasionally (on a roll of 7 or less), the disadvantage is worth 6
points.
